We've Made a Positive Impact!

Today was definitely one for the books, I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of the Shimmer Sparkle Shine Project workshop at Anythink Huron Library in Colorado. We had 15 young ladies join us to learn about self worth and self love today and I can only hope we made a strong impact on them! 

When we begun the workshop everyone was pretty quiet and unsure of what to expect. As we worked though the stations, you could hear the conversations starting and see their confidence growing. Listening to them discuss good vs bad friends was incredible, some of the bullying situations some young girls have been though is just disappointing. They began to lean on each other for support and understanding, seeing them all feel accepted for who they are was amazing! 
 

Watching their smiles with their heads held high as we said goodbye was proof Shimmer Sparkle Shine Project is truly making a difference in young girls lives. Though we only spend a short time with them we can only hope we’ve made lasting memories and that we’ve made a positive impact!
